Friday, April 18th
friday morning
music: a bus going by outside mood: okie
up early. you guessed it... i was too lazy to bother with going out last night. but it's all good, since golan and i went to a really good indian restaurant after our appointment and that was enough to make me just wanna stay home. it was a long day, after all.
golan's phone died, and he's going to be without one until monday or so; so i've been getting messages for him. one of them woke me up a little earlier than i had planned, which is just fine. today will likely not follow through exactly as planned, either, though. i've been trying to reach bareket and she's not really responsive, so i'm not sure she's going to join me at any point during the day. hopefully she'll be awake on time to come hang out before i'm too tired from walking around...
other than that, i think i've found the person who will be cleaning my teeth! it's someone i know, but have never considered asking her if she does such things (she's a dentist not a hygienist). since i'm always afraid of letting someone do a cleaning (cuz most of my teeth are reconstructed and i'm afraid they'll fall apart with too much pressure applied to them), i've already explained my situation and she said it was no problem. so yay! believe it or not, i actually find this exciting. lol.
okie... off to get ready for my friday =)

holiday weekend plans etc
music: nothing mood: alright
today: after work golan and i have an appointment with someone hungrian citizenship related.
tonight: possibly sublime. it appears to be the only thing i'm willing to endure on thursdays these days. besides, it's sarit's birthday so it'll be nice to stop by anyway.
tomorrow morning: running around the streets and shops with bareket and mariana.
tomorrow evening: well, it's none of your business =P
tomorrow night: might include a visit to the underground party.
saturday: no clue what we might be doing during the day, but after golan gets out of his shift we will get getting ready for the tool special @ the meimad =)
sunday: no clue. sleeping off the night before? though i'm not really sure that's going to be necessary, considering i don't really drink much. who knows?

my cough is slowly going away • golan was sick, too, for a little while • we both had weird dreams last night • i never remember mine • our company travel agents have invited me to lunch today • this makes me happy cuz i really like them • today is a friend's birthday • the weather is schizophrenic • saturday night is a tool special • we like that • it's also a holiday • i don't like those • i will likely need to be in gibraltar sometime next month • if this is not decided before the end of next week, i will not be able to make arrangements • oh yea, we're going to amsterdam in nine days =D

well my voice is back. almost. i mean, i can speak at a normal volume, but anything beyond that is still a little too much for me. as though, if i raise my voice the tiniest bit, it will slip back into nothing... so i'm trying to be careful.

Sunday, April 13th
plans vs reality
music: nothing mood: i miss my voice =P
my thursday night plans ended up not taking place. my cough was too annoying and my body told me that i was better off staying in. so i did.
this obviously lent itself well to heading out early on friday morning. you know, just to walk around, shop etc. i met up with a friend for breakfast and shopping. i bought the cutest pair of shoes. i'm not really into vans (that's more golan's thing), but they were just so cute, that i simply couldn't resist =D
anyway, friday night i ended up going out. lots of fun. then on saturday golan and i went to BBQ with friends in their far-away kibutz. heh. lots of food and booze. yum.
now, after having coughed forever and going out on friday (thus, speaking over the music) - it appears that i have lost my voice. i am waiting (im)patiently for it to come back. i miss it =P

other plans
music: nothing mood: better. i think.
so tonight i think i will be passing on all of my 'usual' options and going to some crazyass, electro (gay) party at the barzilai.
when i was trying to figure out what to do tonight, since golan is going to his parents and i figured this would be a nice opportunity to do something different - i looked around to see what my options were... all of the usual applied, but sounded boring. so i asked aya (someone i work with) if she was doing anything interesting, since she's always telling us about her crazy parties. her option simply sounded most appealing =) and she was so excited that i wanted to join her! hehe.
hooray for going to a place i don't usually go to with people i don't know! lol.
tomorrow i might be attending some goth/ebm thing that the underground is putting together and then on saturday golan and i will be going to a bbq that totally promises to be a lot of fun! =)

so it turns out that our trip to london/gibraltar has been postponed to a later, undecided date. i have mixed feelings about this; on one hand, i was really looking forward to our little weekend in london but on the other hand, i would much rather be doing my traveling with golan. either way, i'm going to have to be in gibraltar at some point soon. only question is whether or not i'll be able to do the london thing. we shall see...
is it time to go to amsterdam yet? =D

plans for today include hanging out with liad (which i have not done in aaaaaaaaaaaaages) and giving her a bunch of clothing i want to get rid of; going through the rest of my stuff and getting rid of even more than is already sitting on my couch (waiting for liad); going to the center with golan to get him supplies so he can start painting again; and just taking advantage of the fact that he's not working the night shift this month anymore...
